How It Works:
The first visit is a consultation. We review isotretinoin, keloid history, infection, implants, and recent injectables. Treatment is not assumed for the same day. When you are cleared, numbing precedes treatment. Needles create micro-channels; RF heats the dermis at a chosen depth. Redness for one to three days is expected. Series are planned when scars or pores need more than one pass.
Who Should Wait:
We do not treat if you are pregnant. We typically wait if you are nursing. RF microneedling waits until you have been off isotretinoin long enough to be cleared — commonly at least six months after the last dose. Active infection, cold sores, and open wounds postpone treatment. Keloid history and pacemakers are reviewed before any energy is applied. Secret PRO with CO2 follows ablative rules. Morpheus8 is used for texture, collagen, and selected laxity when depth needs to change across the face or body. Tips are swapped so energy follows the tissue, not a single fixed length.

Aftercare:
Pinpoint marks and redness for one to three days are expected. Makeup is usually held for 24 hours. Pause retinoids and acids until you are told to restart. SPF daily.

Who Should Wait:
Same rules as ablative CO2: not during pregnancy, not while taking isotretinoin, and not within the usual clearance window after the last dose. Not on infected skin.
Aftercare:
When CO2 is used, follow ablative aftercare: keep the field moist, no makeup until the surface has closed, and strict sun protection.
