Acne
Care
Treat the gland,
not the flare.
A dedicated laser path — not a general photorejuvenation setting.
Junovia Approach
Acne care here is not an IPL facial with an acne filter. AviClear uses 1726 nm light to selectively target sebaceous glands so oil production, not only surface inflammation, is the point of treatment. Scars, pigment, and texture may still live on other paths once the breakouts quiet.
How It Works:
The first visit is a consultation. We confirm that active acne — not only leftover marks — is the primary concern, and we review pregnancy, medications, and isotretinoin. AviClear is given as a short series after you are cleared. It is not a same-day add-on to a facial. Redness and dryness after each visit are expected.
Who Should Wait:
We do not treat if you are pregnant. We typically wait if you are nursing. We do not treat while you are taking isotretinoin. Active cold sores, open wounds, or infection other than the acne being treated are reasons to postpone. AviClear does not treat scars; scars are mapped later on another path. Full medical standards.

Pricing is by consultation. AviClear begins at $1,200 per session. A series is quoted after we see the skin.

AviClear
A laser that selectively targets sebaceous glands to reduce acne.
AviClear is energy aimed at the oil gland, not a bright-light facial. It is indicated for mild to severe acne when you want a device path rather than another round of topical cycling alone.
Ideal For:
Mild to severe acne driven by sebaceous activity, including cases that have not settled with topical care alone.
Who Should Wait:
Not during pregnancy. Not while taking isotretinoin (Accutane, Absorica, Claravis, or any oral retinoid). This laser treats the sebaceous gland; it is not an IPL facial and not a scar treatment.
Aftercare:
Moisturize. Expect dryness and redness. Strict SPF. Pause harsh actives until you are told to restart. Complete the series unless your clinician stops it.
A series, not a setting
What it is not.
This is not a standard IPL facial, not tattoo removal, and not fractional resurfacing for pits. Those belong on Texture or Gold RF once inflammation is quieter. AviClear stays with the gland until the flare has a reason to rest.
After each visit:
Redness and dryness are expected. The work continues as sebaceous activity settles over the following months. Scars and leftover pigment are mapped later, on a different path. Write to us if redness is spreading, blistering appears, or a cold sore starts.
